On October 24, 2018, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, known as the "Project of the Century", was officially opened to traffic after 14 years of design and construction. The Area launched a new chapter in the development of the era. As one of the “assistances” behind the smart operation of the Bridge, Nuctech, a subsidiary of THTF, uses its smart inspection technologies and solutions such as large container&vehicle inspection system, small vehicle top-view security inspection system, CT type luggage inspection, terahertz human body security inspection equipment, millimeter wave human body security inspection equipment, X-ray inspection system, etc., on the bridge. All of those have realized all-round inspection of customs clearance goods, passing vehicles, luggage and pedestrians in the three places.
